How Our Used Phone Check Works

At Doji, the quality of your device is our number one priority. 

That’s why we only sell products from selected sellers, who carry out a detailed check on every product listed.

Think of it as a full phone MOT. We look at everything to make sure it’s 100% as described on the website when you click add to basket.

  • We check and grade the working order – things like power, charging, connectivity, camera, and microphone.
  • We look at the battery and performance – things like cycle count, power on, battery resistance reading, full charge reading, and health percentage.
  • We run security and cosmetic checks – like device colour, NMPR check, finance check, insurance check, screen watermarks, outer casing and button checks, and loads more.

We want you to shop with us in confidence, so every device is thoroughly verified to ensure it meets the condition you asked for - that way, your new device will always meet (and hopefully exceed) expectations. We guarantee it.

Should you believe the grading assessment doesn’t match the grading condition you requested, customer support will ask whether you want to return the device, or whether you’ll keep it at a revised grade and price.

If you return it, the Doji grading valuation may be better or worse than your own assessment. If you don't accept the new offer, we’ll send the phone back to the seller and incur the cost of shipping so you’re never at a financial loss.

Should you request a revised grade and price, and the seller accepts - we'll adjust the price and return your funds in 2-3 days.

We’re so confident in our thorough checks, that we offer a full 12-month guarantee on all full working order devices.

If you have any issues, all we ask is that you just send your device to us with our shipping service, and our team of experts will diagnose any concerns.

If the problem is covered by our warranty, we’ll fix it then and there and return it to you in full-working order. If we can’t fix it, we’ll send you a like-for-like replacement so you’re never out of pocket.

We also promise to work as fast as we can, so that your new replacement arrives at your door within 3 working days.

Our warranty is fair, but if the phone has a problem because it’s been fixed by someone else, dropped, had things spilled on it, or fallen in the bath whilst you were scrolling and soaking, we won’t be able to cover that.

But if you’re not happy with the phone you receive, and none of the steps we’ve spoken through are of interest, we’ll refund you in full within 30 days of you receiving the device.
