Initially you'll be charged the full price for the device, but don't worry! Once we receive your old phone or tablet and have completed the necessary verification, the money will will be released to your Doji account. From there, you can withdraw the funds to your personal bank account.

Will my device be accepted? Are there specific requirements that must be met?

We want to make sure it's easy for you to understand the grading conditions on Doji, so you can trade in your phone easily and we provide you with an accurate price. Here's a breakdown:

'Excellent' Condition: This means the screen of the device looks pristine, with no marks at all. The sides and back of the device may have a few micro scratches. Battery health capacity of at least 85%.

'Very Good' Condition: In this condition, the screen of the device may have a few micro scratches, invisible when holding the device at arm's length. The sides and back of the device may have small scratches, but no scuffs, dents or cracks. Battery health capacity of at least 83%.

'Good' Condition: This condition indicates that the screen of the device may have small scratches that can be visible if holding the device at arm's length, but invisible in normal use when the display is on. The sides and back may have small scratches and minor scuffs and chips visible, but no dents or cracks. Battery health capacity of at least 83%.

'Needs Repair' Condition: This condition encompasses devices that are not ready to be sold to someone else, they need to be repaired beforehand. Even 'Needs Repair' devices must have all of its components (no missing parts), they must power on and their housing can't be bent or cracked. However, they can have all sorts of scratches and even cracks, and a faulty software or hardware feature is also accepted. Battery health capacity might be less than 83%.

If the phone's condition matches what you selected, we'll release the previously mentioned amount to your Doji Account so you can easily withdraw it. If the condition doesn't match, we'll get in touch with you and offer an updated price. You can then decide whether to accept it or not.

At this point, you have the option to either accept the new price or decline it. If you choose to decline, we'll arrange to return the phone to you.

The price you paid for your new device won't be affected and you can continue to enjoy it. There just won't be any price reduction related to the trade-in.

How long does the trade-in process typically take?

Once you purchase your new phone, you can expect to receive it within 5 business days.

Send us the phone you're trading in within 3 business days of your new phone arriving. Once we receive your trade-in phone, our team will promptly verify it within 2 business days. As soon as the verification is completed, the funds will be released to your Doji account. You can then withdraw the money to your bank account and it should be available within 2 business days. The whole trade-in process should take 10 working days max; less if you send your phone in faster!
